3 Netflix Films to Binge at Home

Now we all know Netflix is the place to binge watch our favorite series and movies, but what about Spanish films? Checkout my current list below! Enjoy!

The Occupant This film will definitely keep you on your toes. It follows an unemployed, former big shot who is struggling to cope with his new, downgraded lifestyle. Written and directed by siblings Àlex and David Pastor, The Occupant is a great thriller to keep your spare time occupied.

The Platform The Platform was directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and kept me guessing until the very end. In a future dystopia, prisoners housed in vertical cells watch as inmates in the upper cells are fed while those below starve. This movie will tug at your ethics and truly make you wonder, "What would I do if it were me?"

All time favorite here! You may recognize the writer and director Guillermo Del Toro from The Hobbit series, Hellboy, Splice and many upcoming films this year. Pan's Labyrinth, based on Del Toro's novel, follows a young girl during WWII Spain. Her step father is a tyrant both as a Spanish army general, and in the home. Her only solace, is an abandoned labyrinth in her back yard. This film will surely leave you in AWE.
